Storyline:
This artwork is an aerial perspective of the Murrumbidgee River, during wet season, where moisture has consumed the environment, the rains have fallen leading to an abundance of plant life.
The colours (Blue/Green/Purple) depict the live organic material whilst the (Teal/Lime) illustrating the varying depths and movement.
The white lines are the “songlines” that depict the movement of the water where the wind cascades over the surface and the (dark Blue) represent the deepest areas of the riverbed where soil and sediment lay.
This artwork also represents the interlocking practice that Capital Cleaning Group undertakes daily to engage and deliver strengthened service the ACT Community.
